Read and Respond to a Text Message

Open a conversation, read the message, write a reply, and send it.

Follow these steps

    Open the Messages app.

  2. 2

    Tap the person or conversation you want.

  3. 3

    Read the newest message near the bottom.

  4. 4

    Tap the message box and type your reply.

  5. 5

    Review your words, then tap the Send arrow.
